We decided to try out Clay pigeon shooting and axe throwing while visiting Edinburgh this summer. We are a family with young teens and had zero shooting / hunting experience.Mark is a great teacher. He was super patient and spot-on with his instructions. He put all of us at ease and ensured we learned the basics appropriately while having a good time. We were grateful to have him as our instructor.We had a wonderful day! Our kids said this was one of the most memorable activity they tried on vacation. My son and I had a great afternoon with Mark learning the basics of shotgun use and clay pigeon shooting. As complete beginners, he patiently took us though all the basics, the workings of guns, shooting protocols, and health & safety. In a remarkably short time he had us hitting clays with regularity and when we missed, through his good humoured explanations, understanding clearly why.

The people were amazing, and so easy to get to know – and they were incrediblyskilled. A new respect for shooting – i was a novice, but they had me hitting targets even though i had never held a gun before.
